PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya AGCR Colony, Delhi was established in December 1981 with the objective of providing quality and inclusive education to students. It is a co-educational school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

The school is committed to providing students with quality education along with opportunities for their intellectual, social, emotional, physical and creative development. A child-centred and activity-based approach to teaching-learning is encouraged to make learning meaningful, engaging and joyful.

The school has a well-maintained and aesthetically designed three-storey building equipped with facilities to meet the academic and co-curricular needs of students. The school campus provides a safe, healthy and stimulating environment that encourages students to learn, explore and grow.

Students of Classes X and XII appear every year for the CBSE Board Examinations—AISSE (Class X) and AISSCE (Class XII).

To cater to the growing educational needs of students, Kendriya Vidyalaya AGCR – Second Shift commenced functioning from the academic session 2004–05. The Second Shift offers education up to the +2 level with Science and Humanities streams, supported by a separate staff.

The First and Second Shifts of Kendriya Vidyalaya AGCR function within the same campus and are committed to providing students with quality education and equal opportunities for holistic development.
